Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Lembit Lind started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Martti Mäekala's late challenge caught a FC Kuutsi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martti Mäekala helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Asuja getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Martti Mäekala hit a great ball. Raigo Käbin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juss Maarjamaa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vaino Aas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Raigo Käbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaino Aas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raigo Käbin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes, Lembit Lind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asuja and the FC Kuutsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Asuja got a freekick which was hit by Lembit Lind. After 22nd play minutes Vaino Aas shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Raigo Käbin and just under the crossbar into goal. When Vaino Aas came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Kuutsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaino Aas couldn't finish the play. Juss Maarjamaa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Raigo Käbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Kuutsi's Vaino Aas got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Vaino Aas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raigo Käbin. Vaino Aas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vaino Aas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Raigo Käbin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Juss Maarjamaa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Kuutsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juss Maarjamaa couldn't finish the play. Raigo Käbin made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vaino Aas sent off a good shot on target. FC Kuutsi made a substitution. Konrad Niinemets replaced Georg Kukk. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vaino Aas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 55 played minutes Asuja got a freekick which was hit by Tõnis Vaik. Marko Mölder, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martti Mäekala in the 60th minute of play forced FC Kuutsi's goalkeeper Ingmar Käps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vaino Aas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaspar Annimäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raigo Käbin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Asuja defense, Vaino Aas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raigo Käbin. The Asuja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raigo Käbin should have stopped the shot. Asuja's Raigo Käbin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaino Aas in the 71st minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Marko Mölder put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of FC Kuutsi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Asuja:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ingmar Käps, was totally fooled by Asuja's Martti Mäekala, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Vaino Aas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andro Õnnepalu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raigo Käbin. Asuja's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Kuutsi were the better team. FC Kuutsi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
