Tambet Liiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Ragel in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Bruno Eenmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tambet Liiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Liverpool got a freekick which was hit by Markus Ilus. With a little luck, Kolkja's Kajar Näksi got control of the ball when Kalju Ambros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ingmar Kangur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tambet Liiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eimar Tähismaa in the 33rd minute of play. Kalju Ambros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajar Näksi having to interfere. When Härmo Lepassaar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Liverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Härmo Lepassaar couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Peedu Kaljus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liverpool's Tambet Liiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Aupaju in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kolkja's Samuel Aupaju got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kolkja's goalkeeper Kajar Näksi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Liverpool failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
