With an all-out effort, SK Leigri's Villu Ettur threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bert Stüf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erni Hõbemägi in the 11th minute of play forced SK Leigri's goalkeeper Maarek Ülisoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maarek Ülisoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erni Hõbemägi in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, JK Katleri Välk's Janari Liik got a free kick in the 14th minute. A collision led to JK Katleri Välk getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Janari Liik hit a great ball. Bert Stüf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Janari Liik fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JK Katleri Välk's protests and gave Janari Liik a yellow card for diving instead. Juhan Leo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maarek Ülisoo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juhan Leo ran back to his position shaking his head. Noriega Almarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarek Ülisoo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Illimar Alles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Leigri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Janno Laur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villu Ettur having to interfere. Valdur Just's late challenge caught a SK Leigri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdur Just helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes JK Katleri Välk got a freekick which was hit by Valdur Just. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdur Aader got free with Maarek Ülisoo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Janno Laur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Leigri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Katleri Välk the free kick. Janno Laur kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Bert Stüf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villu Ettur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Illimar Alles in the 69th minute of play forced JK Katleri Välk's goalkeeper Villu Ettur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, JK Katleri Välk's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Lutsar came free, but Villu Ettur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noriega Almarza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Maarek Ülisoo made a huge save. A hard shot 84 in the game by Noriega Almarza from a close distance when the talented Maarek Ülisoo managed to make a qualified save. SK Leigri's players were relieved. Maarek Ülisoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silver Luga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silver Luga took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maarek Ülisoo. Maarek Ülisoo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 91st minute Noriega Almarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Ülisoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Noriega Almarza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Leigri's Maarek Ülisoo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When JK Katleri Välk's Noriega Almarza in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Leigri's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JK Katleri Välk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
