A collision led to JK Katleri Välk getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Peep Ojasaar hit a great ball. Üllar Vikat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Villu Ettur made a huge save. After 28 minutes, Valdur Just mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Katleri Välk and the JK Pyllika players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, JK Katleri Välk's Villu Ettur got control of the ball when Lennart Virsa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, JK Pyllika's Lennart Virsa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Villu Ettur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdur Aader recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janari Liik's late challenge caught a JK Pyllika's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janari Liik helped the player get up and apologised. 41 minutes into the match, JK Pyllika's Ants Ereb broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Noriega Almarza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Pyllika's Ago Jaanovits was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute, Adolf Kuuda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Noriega Almarza made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes JK Pyllika got a freekick which was hit by Asko Au. In the 56th minute, Lennart Virsa made a precise shot to the right of Villu Ettur. JK Katleri Välk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Villu Ettur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Üllar Vikat, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Noriega Almarza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ago Jaanovits having to interfere. If Erni Hõbemägi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erni Hõbemägi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ago Jaanovits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villu Ettur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Virsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdur Aader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ago Jaanovits having to interfere.
