Kalju Kaldmaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veiko Intel might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eero Kalenik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veiko Intel ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Wertykal booed when FC Kyrvetaguze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siim Aalto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mattias Veiderma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Joe Kurg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eero Kalenik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvald Viitmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalju Kaldmaa in the 28th minute of the match. FC Wertykal's Eero Kalenik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Kurg in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Illimar Moodne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Veiko Intel managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kyrvetaguze's supporters rose to their feet, but Veiko Intel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eero Kalenik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eero Kalenik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Kurg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to FC Wertykal getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Illimar Moodne hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Sven Vähi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wertykal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kyrvetaguze the free kick. With a little luck, FC Wertykal's Eero Kalenik got control of the ball when Veiko Intel tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Mattias Veiderma made the kick off in the second half. FC Wertykal's Eero Kalenik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veiko Intel in the 53rd minute of play. Eero Kalenik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Kurg's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Joe Kurg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eero Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lembitu Lõokene kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. During the 63rd minute of the match Sven Vähi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sven Vähi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 64th match minute, FC Wertykal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Vähi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Joe Kurg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kyrvetaguze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe Kurg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Siim Aalto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Siim Aalto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eero Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oodo Vares came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the FC Wertykal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oodo Vares couldn't finish the play. Veiko Intel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Kalenik having to interfere. Joe Kurg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eero Kalenik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Joe Kurg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eero Kalenik was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. After 92 played minutes FC Wertykal got a freekick which was hit by Lembitu Lõokene. Veiko Intel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Kalenik having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Wertykal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Kyrvetaguze.
