In the 9th minute Veiko Intel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raido Kadastu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kunnar Käpss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Osvald Viitmann to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Veiko Intel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raido Kadastu having to interfere. If Kaijo Kütt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaijo Kütt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Osvald Viitmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, FC Kyrvetaguze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Idarand to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes, Andreas Idarand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kyrvetaguze and the FC JAHUT players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andreas Idarand kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Evert Äkke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC JAHUT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Äkke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
