Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Riivo Savi in the 6th minute of play forced Santos Tartu's goalkeeper Tambet Org to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Avispea's Riivo Savi got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tanel Lehtmäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Tartu's goalkeeper Tambet Org, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Avispea booed when Santos Tartu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pearu Vaarandi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes, FC Avispea's Mehis Usin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tambet Org came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Avispea reached it. Tanel Lehtmäe might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tambet Org. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tanel Lehtmäe ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC Avispea booed when Santos Tartu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Ahjupera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tambet Org stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riivo Savi's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riivo Savi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tambet Org prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Riivo Savi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tambet Org, 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kardo Luige to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Santos Tartu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Ahjupera to maneuver through the defense. Tambet Org showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riivo Savi in the 58th minute of the match. Tanel Lehtmäe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Avispea's Tanel Lehtmäe in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Kuno Põder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Kuno Põder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Avispea's zone, Elmu Hütt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asko Lahe came out of the goal and Elmu Hütt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kardo Luige, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Asko Lahe was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Riivo Savi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanel Lehtmäe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tambet Org tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Riivo Savi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santos Tartu's Tambet Org was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Asko Lahe was a little too slow when Eino Ahju got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Santos Tartu's goal looked a bit too open when Riivo Savi came free, but Tambet Org reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Väino Randmaa fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Avispea's protests and gave Väino Randmaa a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes FC Avispea got a freekick which was hit by Väino Randmaa. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
