The tension between the Santos Tartu and the FC Wertykal players grew even worse after the yellow card. FC Wertykal's Illimar Moodne got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Wertykal fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when FC Wertykal's Kalju Kaldmaa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Wertykal's Eero Kalenik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kardo Luige in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes FC Wertykal got a freekick which was hit by Oodo Vares. Pearu Vaarandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Kalenik having to interfere. In the 29th minute Kalju Kaldmaa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tambet Org saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 played minutes Santos Tartu got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Ahjupera. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santos Tartu's goalkeeper Tambet Org, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kardo Luige sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lennart Ahjupera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tambet Org. Santos Tartu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalju Kaldmaa in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tambet Org saved Santos Tartu from getting behind. The Santos Tartu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Wertykal were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Kardo Luige made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, FC Wertykal's Mattias Veiderma sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tambet Org narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kalju Kaldmaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Mattias Veiderma came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the FC Wertykal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Veiderma couldn't finish the play. Pearu Vaarandi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Mattias Veiderma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
