Edgar Lainestes short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Valmar Tombak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Albert Marts's late challenge caught a FC Kaevussaare's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Marts helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, Sakna FS's Kalev Paadam nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valmar Tombak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hardo Härm managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kaevussaare's supporters rose to their feet, but Hardo Härm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heino Haljas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 25 minutes into the match, Sakna FS's goal looked a bit too open when Hardo Härm came free, but Heino Haljas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hardo Härm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sakna FS's Gunnar Aader slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valmar Tombak. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. Hardo Härm took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Heino Haljas. Heino Haljas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Valmar Tombak made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Raul Teras sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the game, Raul Teras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Valmar Tombak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Aader to make the kick off. Heldur Enkvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, FC Kaevussaare's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Teras came free, but Valmar Tombak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Albert Marts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 minutes Sakna FS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Leis who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Sakna FS booed when FC Kaevussaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norman Maarjamaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valmar Tombak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Aader in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Gunnar Aader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valmar Tombak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, FC Kaevussaare's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Ansip came free, but Valmar Tombak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Sakna FS's goalkeeper Heino Haljas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Indrek Pulver. Heldur Enkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. FC Kaevussaare's Valmar Tombak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Aader in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sakna FS's zone, Indrek Pulver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heino Haljas came out of the goal and Indrek Pulver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sakna FS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
