When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Toomas Viilup sped through Siiksare FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Félix. Siim Äike blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jaagup Heinaru having to make a save. In the 17th minute of the match, Melchor Chorache tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaagup Heinaru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Sergei Pareiko's Jaagup Heinaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Chorache in the 40th minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Toomas Viilup who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Siiksare FC's Leonardo Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
