An unexpectedly hard shot by Martti Laane in the 18th minute of play forced JK Lehtse Sport's goalkeeper Kert Hell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Martti Laane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kert Hell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rain Mänd lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 26 played minutes, Sitsi's Felix Vall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kert Hell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sitsi reached it. In the 30thth minute of the game Martti Laane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Lehtse Sport's Kert Hell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sitsi booed when JK Lehtse Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rait Leigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Peep Rajamäe made a precise shot to the right of Kert Hell. JK Lehtse Sport's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Peep Rajamäe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kert Hell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Rajamäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Sitsi's Kaupo Lehemets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ats Ratassepp in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Sitsi were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Martti Laane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kert Hell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peep Rajamäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Sitsi's Peep Rajamäe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kert Hell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ats Ratassepp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Kaupo Lehemets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sitsi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Lehtse Sport the free kick. Härmo Vismann kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Peep Rajamäe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sitsi's supporters rose to their feet, but Peep Rajamäe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kert Hell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JK Lehtse Sport's Kert Hell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save JK Lehtse Sport from getting a goal against them. Kaupo Lehemets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ats Ratassepp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes, Villem Voltri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JK Lehtse Sport and the Sitsi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sitsi booed when JK Lehtse Sport was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Villem Voltri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kert Hell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peep Rajamäe in the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind JK Lehtse Sport's goalkeeper Kert Hell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kert Hell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martti Laane in the 96th minute. The Sitsi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sitsi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
