Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kalmer Lips made the kick off and thus started the match. Joel Joller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalmer Lips, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keijo Heiberg came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Toastamaa's Ilmar Kalda. But to his dismay, Ilmar Kalda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Mikk Kont was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toastamaa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vardi JK the free kick. Vardi JK's Argo Aug was substituted for Arnold Käbin. After a rather tough play, Toastamaa's Mikk Kont got a free kick in the 12th minute. Kalmer Lips recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Paavo Hõbesoo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toastamaa and the Vardi JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Toastamaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paavo Hõbesoo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Allan Kullamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toastamaa's Raimo Vall got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toastamaa's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 26th minute of the game, when Andro Emane after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Vardi JK's goal. Andro Emane was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 28th minute, Kalmer Lips got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Kalmer Nurmela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toastamaa's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalmer Nurmela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keijo Heiberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kunnar Haas charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kunnar Haas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Toastamaa booed when Vardi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kunnar Haas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keijo Heiberg was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Raimo Vall capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raimo Vall really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimo Vall was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Vardi JK got a freekick which was hit by Kunnar Haas. Joel Joller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalmer Lips, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Gerd Pukk fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vardi JK's protests and gave Gerd Pukk a yellow card for diving instead. Gerd Pukk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Joel Joller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kalmer Lips's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. If Kalmer Lips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Ilmar Kalda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toastamaa and the Vardi JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vardi JK booed when Toastamaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmar Kalda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Joller was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Gabriel Riis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gabriel Riis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Gabriel Riis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kunnar Haas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 97th minute, Kunnar Haas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
