Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kuno Räim got the match started through his kick off. Volli Viru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urmet Vähi's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 8thth minute of the game Kuno Räim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter's Volli Viru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Inter's Agu Naaskel got a free kick in the 10th minute. Voldemar Udu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Üllar Kohv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Voldemar Udu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Üllar Kohv. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Kuno Räim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marjandi SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuno Räim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Volli Viru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urmet Vähi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kuno Räim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuno Räim in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Volli Viru saved Inter from getting behind. 45 minutes into the match, Marjandi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Voldemar Udu came free, but Üllar Kohv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuno Räim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Volli Viru having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 54 minutes Marjandi SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paavo Aunaste who took care of the corner kick. Olev Ülavere tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Üllar Kohv. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 55th minute. Voldemar Udu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Üllar Kohv read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Kuno Räim rounded Inter's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. After some careless play in the Marjandi SK defense, Voldemar Udu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Üllar Kohv. The Marjandi SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Üllar Kohv should have stopped the shot. After 78 played minutes, Marjandi SK's Olev Ülavere shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Volli Viru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marjandi SK reached it. Elmo Sau kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Elmo Sau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Inter's Paavo Aunaste tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Marjandi SK booed when Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agu Naaskel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inter's Volli Viru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuno Räim in the 94th minute of play. Marjandi SK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
