But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Adamson couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Rouge's Gunnar Viikmaa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arno Kalev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Rouge booed when SK Kanissaare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position.
