The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francisco Rioja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eedi Aus, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of FC SiniSini booed when Viisli FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvi Laat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Heldur Vallik hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tõnn Savi scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisco Rioja, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, FC SiniSini's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Korm came free, but Francisco Rioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Viisli FS's Arvi Laat made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Tõnn Savi notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC SiniSini's Francisco Rioja. Francisco Rioja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC SiniSini's Madis Mure was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo Secco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ainar Äss lost his temper 27 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ainar Äss kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Francisco Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvi Laat in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Emil Taaber notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC SiniSini's Francisco Rioja. Francisco Rioja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvi Laat in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Viisli FS's Emil Taaber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Rioja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Strömqvist was the one to do the kick off. Francisco Rioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tõnn Savi in the 53rd minute of play. Francisco Rioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allar Maamägi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Strömqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Secco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Strömqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Rioja made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Arvi Laat sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Rioja came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Viisli FS's Allar Maamägi. But to his dismay, Allar Maamägi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Viisli FS's Endel Kasepalu was substituted for Allar Maamägi. Endel Kasepalu struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Francisco Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viisli FS. An unexpectedly hard shot by Endel Kasepalu in the 68th minute of play forced FC SiniSini's goalkeeper Francisco Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Tõnn Savi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Rioja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC SiniSini's Francisco Rioja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC SiniSini from getting a goal against them. Viisli FS's Paulo Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Strömqvist in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Viisli FS's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Esdras came free, but Paulo Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvi Laat in the 85th minute of play forced FC SiniSini's goalkeeper Francisco Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvi Laat got free with Francisco Rioja in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Rioja didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-7.
