Spectators: 8401 (Terracing: 6301, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jürgen Noorsaar made the kick off which started today's match. 0-1 became the score in the 4th minute when Ralf Ling elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Peedu Oad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When August Koba came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Gomab fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Koba couldn't finish the play. Marek Ernesaks kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Peedu Oad struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Robi Valmas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Salme. In the 16th minute Gert Jänes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robi Valmas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Gomab's goal looked a bit too open when Peedu Oad came free, but Robi Valmas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gomab's August Koba got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robi Valmas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Jänes in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Gert Jänes made a precise shot to the right of Robi Valmas. Gomab's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to JK Salme getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tom Aver hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Jürgen Noorsaar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Kurm skillfully saved the ball. Marek Ernesaks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dan Kurm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Gomab's Jürgen Noorsaar tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Gomab booed when JK Salme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Aver didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Gomab's August Koba got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Ling was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Ralf Ling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robi Valmas. The goal made the score 1-3. If August Koba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Ralf Ling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Koba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Gert Jänes made a precise shot to the right of Robi Valmas. Gomab's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Ralf Ling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robi Valmas came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Ling slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 78th minute. Ralf Ling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Robi Valmas made a huge save. Ralf Ling's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Robi Valmas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peedu Oad in the 86th minute of play forced Gomab's goalkeeper Robi Valmas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jürgen Noorsaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The JK Salme supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JK Salme would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
