The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, JK VOLUME's goal looked a bit too open when Kristjan Mäetaguse came free, but Mario Vares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes JK VOLUME got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Väärsi. Ernst Väärsi's late challenge caught a Auckland Koalas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Väärsi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, JK VOLUME was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Väärsi to maneuver through the defense. If Kristjan Mäetaguse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Auckland Koalas's Arne Ümarik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mario Vares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Kristjan Mäetaguse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mario Vares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 19 played minutes JK VOLUME got a freekick which was hit by Tom Härm. Mario Vares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristjan Mäetaguse in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Arne Ümarik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Vares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The JK VOLUME fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Vares should have stopped the shot. Carlo Quadrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute, Rasmus Alas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Vares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristjan Mäetaguse, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Mario Vares came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Auckland Koalas's Arne Ümarik. But to his dismay, Arne Ümarik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The JK VOLUME players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Auckland Koalas were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Quadrini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristjan Mäetaguse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mario Vares. That made the score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. When Auckland Koalas's Kristjan Mäetaguse in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 84 minutes, Kevin Talvik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Auckland Koalas and the JK VOLUME players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Kevin Talvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Auckland Koalas made a substitution. Joosep Remmelgas replaced Beto Marcico. Kevin Talvik hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Viljar Kabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Quadrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Viljar Kabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Quadrini in the 92nd minute of the match. Víctor Javier Hugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viljar Kabral having to interfere. After some careless play in the Auckland Koalas defense, Víctor Javier Hugo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viljar Kabral. The Auckland Koalas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viljar Kabral should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Auckland Koalas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JK VOLUME throughout the match.
