Haljala's Tibor Pálffy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Haljala from getting a goal against them. Haljala's Tibor Pálffy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Haljala from getting a goal against them. The Colo-Colo fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Colo-Colo's Aílton Diniz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Aílton Diniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tibor Pálffy. That made the score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. Edvin Lilleväli got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Colo-Colo's Arne Oja was substituted for Karp Efimov. A collision led to Haljala getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Edvin Lilleväli hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Adam Dobrițoiu made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ragnar Usk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute of the match Esequiel Barco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Pálffy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Börje Jelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Dobrițoiu in the 58th minute of the match. Ragnar Usk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Börje Jelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tibor Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Loik in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Soares in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tibor Pálffy saved Haljala from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Aílton Diniz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colo-Colo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 84th minute, Aílton Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Pálffy was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Haljala's Tibor Pálffy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséias Soares in the 90th minute of play. Tibor Pálffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Haljala's Härmo Vides got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Adam Dobrițoiu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Colo-Colo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
