After a rather tough play, Galatasaray FC's Sepo Heinsalu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Uudo Vabamüürlane was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zeynel Dilercan kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Uudo Vabamüürlane kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Illimar Üle. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Andrei Antonas took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Virunurm. Andreas Virunurm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Andreas Virunurm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olari Äss in the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, FC VIIMSI SMS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urmo Verk to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC VIIMSI SMS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bennvar Cash hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes Leo Galnares shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for FC VIIMSI SMS's Andreas Virunurm to catch but Leo Galnares was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 40 minutes into the match, Galatasaray FC's goalkeeper Illimar Üle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marti Pilvistu. Andreas Virunurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Antonas in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Uudo Vabamüürlane made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Olari Äss fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Andreas Virunurm, passed just outside the right post. Kiur Vahing hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Galatasaray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urmas Mäe came free, but Illimar Üle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Andrei Antonas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Illimar Üle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urmas Mäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Zeynel Dilercan kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Andrei Antonas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC VIIMSI SMS defense, Kaspar Harju kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Virunurm. The FC VIIMSI SMS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Virunurm should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Rain Virmaline hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Galatasaray FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Galatasaray FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
