The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kara Teka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joakim Vennerström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Henri Meri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kopli's zone, 武 太史慈 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Vennerström came out of the goal and 武 太史慈 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Tapa Athlétic™ from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Mugurel Chiriloaie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joakim Vennerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute Mugurel Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heigo Mustkivi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elmar Loorits in the 25th minute. Joakim Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kopli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 武 太史慈 was slow to take the kick. During this time Tapa Athlétic™'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that 武 太史慈 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joakim Vennerström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 34 minutes into the match, FC Kopli's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Chiriloaie came free, but Joakim Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kopli's Aivar Kalde managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Herbert Rakke in the 36 minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Roomet Käbin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Tapa Athlétic™'s 武 太史慈 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tapa Athlétic™ reached it. Mugurel Chiriloaie took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joakim Vennerström. Joakim Vennerström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elmar Loorits stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Madis Ratas came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, FC Kopli's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Chuan Ling came free, but Joakim Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Loorits came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yan Chuan Ling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Vahur Nirk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joakim Vennerström. FC Kopli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vahur Nirk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Vahur Nirk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Yan Chuan Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Vahur Nirk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joakim Vennerström. That made the score 0-4 in the 74 minute of play. Heigo Mustkivi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Loorits, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahur Nirk in the 84th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Chuan Ling in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Loorits came free, but Heigo Mustkivi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vahur Nirk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Rakke during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Herbert Rakke kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Elmar Loorits had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tapa Athlétic™ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
