Kastanéa BC's Alkestis Maragos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Briarios Dioletis in the 17th minute of play. Odysseas Antonopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Priamos Makrodimitris's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Priamos Makrodimitris sped through Jafér's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Odysseas Antonopoulos. Teukros Christou hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Aktaion Mitsinikos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 42 minutes, Aris Picoulas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jafér and the Kastanéa BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Jafér got a freekick which was hit by Aris Picoulas. Briarios Dioletis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Priamos Makrodimitris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Odysseas Antonopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Priamos Makrodimitris made the kick off in the second half. Odysseas Antonopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Priamos Makrodimitris in the 52nd minute of the match. When Iolaos Akrivopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Kastanéa BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iolaos Akrivopoulos couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kastanéa BC's Alkestis Maragos got control of the ball when Lykaon Forakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Kastanéa BC got a freekick which was hit by Nassos Triantafillou. Lykaon Forakis came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alkestis Maragos could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teukros Christou in the 83rd minute of play forced Kastanéa BC's goalkeeper Alkestis Maragos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stergios Kalogeria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out.
