Xanthos Papadis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Roufás AC's zone, Seilenos Papadopulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Dioletis came out of the goal and Seilenos Papadopulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Kalkhas Sklavenitis came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Roufás AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalkhas Sklavenitis couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Roufás AC's goal looked a bit too open when Seilenos Papadopulos came free, but Stelios Dioletis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lefteris Koumanidis made a kick off. Seilenos Papadopulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Dioletis having to interfere. Stelios Dioletis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
