The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionysos Milionis got free with Stelios Dioletis in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dionysos Milionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Dioletis having to interfere. Stelios Dioletis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambros Sarantopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roufás AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aktaion Poniros was slow to take the kick. During this time Katerina's players had a chance to rest. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Roufás AC's goalkeeper Stelios Dioletis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agix Kakavetsis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stelios Dioletis made a huge save. Lambros Sarantopoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Stelios Dioletis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stelios Dioletis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambros Sarantopoulos in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Dionysos Milionis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Roufás AC's Stelios Dioletis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambros Sarantopoulos in the 38th minute of play. Roufás AC's Stelios Dioletis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Roufás AC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Roufás AC's zone, Lambros Sarantopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stelios Dioletis came out of the goal and Lambros Sarantopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lefteris Koumanidis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Katerina's Lambros Sarantopoulos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dionysos Milionis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lambros Sarantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Lambros Sarantopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katerina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dionysos Milionis hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Lambros Sarantopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roufás AC's Stelios Dioletis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionysos Milionis in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Dionysos Milionis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roufás AC's Stelios Dioletis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Lambros Sarantopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Stelios Dioletis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stelios Dioletis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionysos Milionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Roufás AC's Stelios Dioletis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agix Kakavetsis in the 78th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Katerina fully deserved thier win.
