Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aiakos Hadjiyianakies took the kick off in the first half of the match. Peneios Mestas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Morikis in the 4th minute. Kalkhas Grammatakakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Peneios Mestas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Poias Liberoyiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Katerina's Peneios Mestas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Katerina from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Katerina booed when Frosýni BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Gaitanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Katerina's Dionysos Milionis in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frosýni BC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Katerina's goalkeeper Peneios Mestas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalkhas Grammatakakis. Katerina's Peneios Mestas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Gaitanis in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Katerina's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kalkhas Grammatakakis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kalkhas Grammatakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peneios Mestas having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Kalkhas Grammatakakis sped through Katerina's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peneios Mestas. Asopos Gatchis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionysos Milionis in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Katerina booed when Frosýni BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haimon Rigatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Frosýni BC booed when Katerina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aktaion Poniros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 56th minute Aiakos Hadjiyianakies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peneios Mestas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Agix Kakavetsis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katerina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frosýni BC the free kick. In the 57th minute, Agix Kakavetsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aris Gaitanis struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Peneios Mestas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frosýni BC. Peneios Mestas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aiakos Hadjiyianakies in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Poias Liberoyiannis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frosýni BC's Aiakos Hadjiyianakies got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Katerina got a freekick which was hit by Makhaon Leontarakis. If Dionysos Milionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aiakos Hadjiyianakies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Peneios Mestas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Kalkhas Grammatakakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Poias Liberoyiannis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katerina and the Frosýni BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Poias Liberoyiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Asopos Gatchis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lambros Sarantopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peneios Mestas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalkhas Grammatakakis in the 87th minute of the match. Kalkhas Grammatakakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Aiakos Hadjiyianakies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frosýni BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aiakos Hadjiyianakies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peneios Mestas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Frosýni BC booed when Katerina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aigimios Kalakos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
