Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lambros Sarantopoulos made the kick off which started today's match. After recieving a nice pass, Katerina's Aktaion Poniros tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FlaounaFC's zone, Dionysos Milionis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koios Paraskevopoulos came out of the goal and Dionysos Milionis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Katerina's Lambros Sarantopoulos in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FlaounaFC's goalie prevented a goal. Peneios Mestas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seilenos Papadopulos in the 21st minute of play. Laios Letsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Peneios Mestas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akrisios Kaloxylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Katerina's Lambros Sarantopoulos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Koios Paraskevopoulos made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Agix Kakavetsis sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laios Letsos in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Peneios Mestas saved Katerina from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Seilenos Papadopulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlaounaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Seilenos Papadopulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peneios Mestas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seilenos Papadopulos to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Katerina defense, Laios Letsos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peneios Mestas. The Katerina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peneios Mestas should have stopped the shot. Laios Letsos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Seilenos Papadopulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akontios Touchakis hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Seilenos Papadopulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Peneios Mestas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Laios Letsos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FlaounaFC booed when Katerina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makhaon Leontarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laios Letsos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Peneios Mestas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Katerina booed when FlaounaFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seilenos Papadopulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laios Letsos got free with Peneios Mestas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, FlaounaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lambros Sarantopoulos came free, but Koios Paraskevopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Makhaon Kopsas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FlaounaFC's Aris Petrakos got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes, Katerina's Aktaion Poniros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Koios Paraskevopoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Katerina reached it. Laios Letsos took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peneios Mestas. Peneios Mestas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Seilenos Papadopulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peneios Mestas having to interfere. The supporters of FlaounaFC booed when Katerina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agix Kakavetsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. FlaounaFC played a much better game than Katerina and deserved their victory. The Katerina players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
