The supporters of Kasolaíika BC booed when Protokhórion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iolkos Fotinopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kerkops Paitakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simeon Pavli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Protokhórion's supporters rose to their feet, but Stathis Vassilopulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Telis Patselas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Gavril took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Telis Patselas. Telis Patselas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Epigonoi Iliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Protokhórion's zone, Simeon Pavli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerkops Paitakes came out of the goal and Simeon Pavli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Epigonoi Iliopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kerkops Paitakes. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play. In the 90th minute, Iolkos Fotinopoulos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protokhórion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
