Thodoris Petrakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos made a huge save. Aigeus Kotsiopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eumaios Zahakis in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, kalanístra's goalkeeper Aigeus Kotsiopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thodoris Petrakis. In the 15th minute, Glaukos Geracimos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Sklavenitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19th minute Eumaios Zahakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Sklavenitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glaukos Geracimos in the 21st minute of the match. Thodoris Petrakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Orthros Trampakoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aigeus Kotsiopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eumaios Zahakis in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, kalanístra's goal looked a bit too open when Eumaios Zahakis came free, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, kalanístra's Aigeus Kotsiopoulos got control of the ball when Thodoris Petrakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute, Thodoris Petrakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aigeus Kotsiopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thodoris Petrakis scored 2-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aigeus Kotsiopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eumaios Zahakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aigeus Kotsiopoulos having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orthros Trampakoulos made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eumaios Zahakis in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aigeus Kotsiopoulos saved kalanístra from getting behind. Aigeus Kotsiopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eumaios Zahakis's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. If Orthros Trampakoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, kalanístra's goal looked a bit too open when Eumaios Zahakis came free, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glaukos Geracimos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Manos Sklavenitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eumaios Zahakis in the 75th minute of play forced kalanístra's goalkeeper Aigeus Kotsiopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, kalanístra's Manolis Felecos got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute Zinon Kapsimalles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of kalanístra booed when Palioróforon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eumaios Zahakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aigeus Kotsiopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Kapsimalles, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, kalanístra's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Petrakis came free, but Aigeus Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Eumaios Zahakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thodoris Petrakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aigeus Kotsiopoulos having to interfere. Palioróforon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
