Alpheios Vrettos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spiros Koumanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glykórrizo's Spiros Koumanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Arburí getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Patroklos Mersinias hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spiros Koumanidis in the 19th minute of play forced Arburí's goalkeeper Vasilis Geracimos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leukothoe Eatros came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Arburí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leukothoe Eatros couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Arburí booed when Glykórrizo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glaukos Forakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Kerkops Alexis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Rozaklis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Akheloos Karabachos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vasilis Geracimos made a huge save. Giorgos Rozaklis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leukothoe Eatros in the 38th minute of the match. Aiakos Bourikas hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Kerkops Alexis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Arburí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kerkops Alexis couldn't finish the play. Leukothoe Eatros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Giorgos Rozaklis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Rozaklis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leukothoe Eatros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Leukothoe Eatros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arburí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alpheios Vrettos was the one to do the kick off. Leukothoe Eatros in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Giorgos Rozaklis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th match minute, Arburí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kerkops Alexis to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes Arburí got a freekick which was hit by Leukothoe Eatros. After 61 minutes, Spiros Koumanidis made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arburí's Vasilis Geracimos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Leukothoe Eatros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Glykórrizo's goalkeeper Giorgos Rozaklis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Glykórrizo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alpheios Vrettos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Leukothoe Eatros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spiros Koumanidis struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Vasilis Geracimos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glykórrizo. Vasilis Geracimos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akheloos Karabachos in the 86th minute of play. Grigoris Papastavrou kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Akheloos Karabachos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arburí's Vasilis Geracimos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leukothoe Eatros got free with Giorgos Rozaklis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
