In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxilár's goalkeeper Nikias Antonakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Kostas Tsangaris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. AEP FC's Ptolemeus Stagias got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patroklos Vassilikos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikias Antonakos having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Likymnios Nikolakakos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AEP FC and the Oxilár players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oxilár booed when AEP FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Likymnios Nikolakakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oxilár's Zinon Koumanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ptolemeus Stagias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nikias Antonakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ptolemeus Stagias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEP FC's goalkeeper Tantalos Villas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ptolemeus Stagias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, AEP FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Karaoulanis came free, but Tantalos Villas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musios Comino in the 36th minute of play forced AEP FC's goalkeeper Tantalos Villas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ptolemeus Stagias to make the kick off. Kostas Tsangaris was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Oxilár's Kostas Tsangaris got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Ptolemeus Stagias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dioskouroi Valkanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alekos Karaoulanis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tantalos Villas firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, AEP FC's goalkeeper Tantalos Villas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alekos Karaoulanis. If Ptolemeus Stagias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Oxilár getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Musios Comino hit a great ball. Nikias Antonakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ptolemeus Stagias in the 77th minute of the match. Dioskouroi Valkanas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikias Antonakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dioskouroi Valkanas ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikias Antonakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patroklos Vassilikos's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Dioskouroi Valkanas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Kreon Sakellariou kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Oxilár's Nikias Antonakos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patroklos Vassilikos in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Alekos Karaoulanis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AEP FC's Tantalos Villas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save AEP FC from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the match, Oxilár's goal looked a bit too open when Patroklos Vassilikos came free, but Nikias Antonakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kreon Sakellariou kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Oxilár succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though AEP FC had controlled the match.
