Kolkhis Petrakis came out of the goal and Labdakos Samios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Maroúlion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kolonos Theohari to maneuver through the defense. Dioskouroi Touchakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seleykos Sakelaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dioskouroi Touchakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Kolkhis Petrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Mitsinikos in the 27th minute of the match. Orthros Angelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seleykos Sakelaris having to interfere. Apostolis Pagonis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Maroúlion BC's Kolkhis Petrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Mitsinikos in the 39th minute of play. Orthros Angelis hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Orthros Angelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Seleykos Sakelaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orthros Angelis in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dioskouroi Touchakis to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Orthros Angelis made a precise shot to the right of Seleykos Sakelaris. Maroúlion BC's Kolkhis Petrakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Labdakos Samios in the 72nd minute of play. Kolkhis Petrakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Learkhos Dounias in the 85th minute of play. Orthros Angelis came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Seleykos Sakelaris could save by the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Maroúlion BC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
