Fotis Dreliozis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Fotis Papastavrou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patroklos Markopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oileus Mentis during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fotis Dreliozis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oileus Mentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AC MILAN getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Antaios Panagopoulos hit a great ball. Oileus Mentis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fotis Dreliozis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Fotis Dreliozis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oileus Mentis in the 83rd minute of play. When Kastor Arvanitoyannis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Floresaioi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kastor Arvanitoyannis couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the AC MILAN defense, Oileus Mentis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fotis Dreliozis. The AC MILAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fotis Dreliozis should have stopped the shot. Floresaioi played a much better game than AC MILAN and deserved their victory. The AC MILAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
