In the 42nd match minute, AY YILDIZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eteokles Kopsas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oileus Mentis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Themis Spyridis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Floresaioi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themis Spyridis couldn't finish the play. The supporters of AY YILDIZ booed when Floresaioi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haides Manoukarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Eteokles Kopsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Oileus Mentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kastor Arvanitoyannis took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Makareus Pantelakos. Makareus Pantelakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kastor Arvanitoyannis in the 78th minute of play forced AY YILDIZ's goalkeeper Makareus Pantelakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Oileus Mentis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Makareus Pantelakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a rather tough play, Floresaioi's Haides Manoukarakis got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When Babbis Papadimitriou fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AY YILDIZ's protests and gave Babbis Papadimitriou a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes AY YILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Papadimitriou. In the 85th minute Oileus Mentis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Makareus Pantelakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Themis Spyridis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresaioi's supporters rose to their feet, but Themis Spyridis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Makareus Pantelakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Makareus Pantelakos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresaioi's Oileus Mentis. But to his dismay, Oileus Mentis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Kastor Arvanitoyannis might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Makareus Pantelakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kastor Arvanitoyannis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Oileus Mentis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresaioi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Floresaioi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
