Pingolas KF's Vaios Tableriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavlos Pispinis in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of Pingolas KF booed when ROSTOV F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavlos Pispinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skeiron Triantis hit a great ball. When Tantalos Stavropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pingolas KF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tantalos Stavropoulos couldn't finish the play. Kapaneus Glynatsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ROSTOV F.C's zone, Skeiron Christou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asopos Manoukarakis came out of the goal and Skeiron Christou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tantalos Stavropoulos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Asopos Manoukarakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pingolas KF were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
