But to his dismay, Konstantinos Koulouris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stelios Koutsoubos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoibos Konstantatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelios Koutsoubos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Spelas in the 44th minute of play. Tolis Malavazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Oinomoas Dalianis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes, Kolonéïka FC's Aigeus Michael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicias Kouches came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kolonéïka FC reached it. In the 88th minute of the match Stathis Vassilikos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicias Kouches skillfully saved the ball. Tolis Malavazos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicias Kouches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Panos Spelas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Stólos BC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
