But to his dismay, Enzo Macchione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kroios Christou made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Evripidis Latousakis sent off a good shot on target. When Hyllos Arvanitoyannis came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Gourzí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hyllos Arvanitoyannis couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Hyllos Arvanitoyannis came free, but Thomas Strilakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akamas Anetakis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prokris Bourikas in the 55th minute of play forced Gourzí's goalkeeper Kroios Christou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gourzí's Hyllos Arvanitoyannis in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thomas Strilakos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Thomas Strilakos was a little too slow when Hyllos Arvanitoyannis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. Evripidis Latousakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kroios Christou having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Gourzí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Macchione to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akamas Anetakis in the 79th minute of play forced Gourzí's goalkeeper Kroios Christou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Strilakos had great luck who in the 85thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hyllos Arvanitoyannis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thomas Strilakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hyllos Arvanitoyannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
