Labdakos Kakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nykteus Gravari in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Ganaíika FC booed when Karoútai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kroios Stamatelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nykteus Gravari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Prokris Agelakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karoútai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ganaíika FC the free kick. A collision led to Karoútai getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Prokris Agelakos hit a great ball. Makhaon Mavrostomoss short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Akastos Mavrostomos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kostas Gazonas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Nykteus Gravari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Labdakos Kakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46thth minute of the game Makhaon Mavrostomos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ganaíika FC's Akastos Mavrostomos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deukalion Katsivalis made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ganaíika FC's goalkeeper Akastos Mavrostomos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Ganaíika FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Kostas Gazonas hit a great ball. Ganaíika FC's Nykteus Gravari got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Karoútai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kroios Stamatelos to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Leonidas Kopsas made a precise shot to the right of Akastos Mavrostomos. Ganaíika FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Nestoras Stasinopoulos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Makhaon Mavrostomos came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Karoútai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Makhaon Mavrostomos couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute, Ganaíika FC's Deukalion Katsivalis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some careless play in the Karoútai defense, Deukalion Katsivalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Labdakos Kakos. The Karoútai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Labdakos Kakos should have stopped the shot. After 90 played minutes Ganaíika FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Nomikos. Karoútai's Hyllos Despines couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 91st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ganaíika FC. Nykteus Gravari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Labdakos Kakos having to interfere. Kroios Stamatelos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Ganaíika FC played a much better game than Karoútai and deserved their victory. The Karoútai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
