Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) Megalókhari's Kostas Soukis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Kostas Soukis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ekhemos Triantafillou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Pavlos Kouros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Zinon Mestas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Megalókhari's Oinomoas Adamidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Takis Kalakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takis Kalakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Pavlos Kouros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kostas Soukis struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Ekhemos Triantafillou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Megalókhari. Megalókhari's Oinomoas Adamidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zinon Mestas in the 30th minute of play. Akheloos Rigatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match Ptolemeos Fitrakis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oinomoas Adamidis skillfully saved the ball. Akheloos Rigatos's late challenge caught a Megalókhari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Akheloos Rigatos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Sardínia BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akheloos Rigatos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zinon Mestas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Sardínia BC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Sardínia BC's Akheloos Rigatos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 58 minutes into the game, Zinon Mestas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Oinomoas Adamidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sardínia BC booed when Megalókhari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takis Kalakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akheloos Rigatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Oinomoas Adamidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zinon Mestas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oinomoas Adamidis having to make a save. After 69 played minutes Megalókhari got a freekick which was hit by Nessos Eliopoulos. After a defensive mix-up in Megalókhari's zone, Akheloos Rigatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oinomoas Adamidis came out of the goal and Akheloos Rigatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Soukis in the 76th minute of play forced Sardínia BC's goalkeeper Ekhemos Triantafillou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zinon Mestas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Oinomoas Adamidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Akheloos Rigatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zinon Mestas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinomoas Adamidis having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Zinon Mestas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pavlos Kouros fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Megalókhari's protests and gave Pavlos Kouros a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Megalókhari got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Kouros. A nice corner shot did that Glaukos Koumaditis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oinomoas Adamidis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 95 minutes into the match, Megalókhari's goal looked a bit too open when Zinon Mestas came free, but Oinomoas Adamidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sardínia BC had won after a very even match.
