Tassos Danas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinomoas Adamidis having to interfere. After 13 played minutes EFSTATHIOU FC got a freekick which was hit by Eteokles Komninos. Takis Kalakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Plouton Makricosta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tassos Danas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Megalókhari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EFSTATHIOU FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akamas Xydis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oinomoas Adamidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akamas Xydis in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oinomoas Adamidis saved Megalókhari from getting behind. The Megalókhari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EFSTATHIOU FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akamas Xydis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kostas Soukis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Plouton Makricosta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Pavlos Kouros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oinomoas Adamidis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Megalókhari's Nessos Eliopoulos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Akamas Xydis came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the EFSTATHIOU FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Akamas Xydis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Megalókhari's Oinomoas Adamidis got control of the ball when Tassos Danas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tassos Danas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Takis Kalakos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Megalókhari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takis Kalakos couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Akamas Xydis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oinomoas Adamidis. Akamas Xydis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. EFSTATHIOU FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
