Spectators: 6791 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Panos Vourlis started the match with the kick off. Kelaino Kavallieratos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Harames, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Kaineus Antoniadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Kelaino Kavallieratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Thorikos Melissinos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 15 in the game by Glaukos Mihas from a close distance when the talented Aigyptos Doukatelis managed to make a qualified save. Karşıyaka's players were relieved. Aigyptos Doukatelis came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C OMONOIA's Panos Vourlis. But to his dismay, Panos Vourlis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 20 played minutes Karşıyaka got a freekick which was hit by Kaineus Antoniadis. In the 23rd minute Panos Vourlis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aigyptos Doukatelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Kaineus Antoniadis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kelaino Kavallieratos was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After having played for 33 minutes, Kaineus Antoniadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karşıyaka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaineus Antoniadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kelaino Kavallieratos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaineus Antoniadis in the 34th minute of the match. If Kaineus Antoniadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kelaino Kavallieratos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaineus Antoniadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aigyptos Doukatelis was a little too slow when Panos Glynatsis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaineus Antoniadis to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, A.C OMONOIA's Kelaino Kavallieratos got control of the ball when Christos Harames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karşıyaka's Kaineus Antoniadis got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Agesilaus Christakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karşıyaka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C OMONOIA the free kick. A hard shot 62 in the game by Christos Harames from a close distance when the talented Kelaino Kavallieratos managed to make a qualified save. A.C OMONOIA's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Harames got free with Kelaino Kavallieratos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christos Harames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kaineus Antoniadis came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Karşıyaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaineus Antoniadis couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Karşıyaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Comino to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to A.C OMONOIA getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Alkyoneus Passas hit a great ball. Omiros Comino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kelaino Kavallieratos having to make a save. Christos Harames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kelaino Kavallieratos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Panos Glynatsis fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C OMONOIA's protests and gave Panos Glynatsis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, A.C OMONOIA's Panos Glynatsis got a free kick in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Karşıyaka's Christos Harames nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kelaino Kavallieratos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The A.C OMONOIA players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
