Kaineus Alexis got in the 5th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marios Sakellariou handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 6th minute Kaineus Alexis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Sakellariou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rhesos Polychronopoulos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Timos Giannacopulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marios Sakellariou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timos Giannacopulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marios Sakellariou having to interfere. Kaineus Alexis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timos Giannacopuloss short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Marios Sakellariou to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Svérdhia FC's Rhesos Polychronopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kondáraina BC's Marios Sakellariou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaineus Alexis in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Kaineus Alexis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Sakellariou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timos Giannacopulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tantalos Beldekas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timos Giannacopulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marios Sakellariou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Kaineus Alexis put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marios Sakellariou. Marios Sakellariou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Giannacopulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes of play, Svérdhia FC's Timos Giannacopulos made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marios Sakellariou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timos Giannacopulos in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marios Sakellariou prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
