Aiolos Brisimitzakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chronis Rozaklis having to interfere. In the 12th minute Kyszkos Kouklakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chronis Rozaklis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Aiolos Brisimitzakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chronis Rozaklis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kyszkos Kouklakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chronis Rozaklis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. If Kyszkos Kouklakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Soláki FC got a freekick which was hit by Akheloos Demarchis. 21 minutes into the match, ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926's Kyszkos Kouklakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chronis Rozaklis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chronis Rozaklis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyszkos Kouklakis in the 23rd minute of the match. Aiolos Brisimitzakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Chronis Rozaklis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Soláki FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Akheloos Demarchis hit a great ball. Aiolos Brisimitzakis in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chronis Rozaklis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 37 minutes, Arkas Mentis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926 and the Soláki FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkas Mentis to maneuver through the defense. Kyszkos Kouklakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chronis Rozaklis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kyszkos Kouklakis ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Khariklo Christakis to make the kick off. When Menios Strilakos fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926's protests and gave Menios Strilakos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th match minute, ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menios Strilakos to maneuver through the defense. After 63 played minutes, Soláki FC's Kyknos Tsakoumis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aglauros Sklavenitis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soláki FC reached it. If Kyszkos Kouklakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Soláki FC's zone, Kyszkos Kouklakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chronis Rozaklis came out of the goal and Kyszkos Kouklakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Soláki FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Kyknos Tsakoumis hit a great ball. After 70 minutes of play, ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926's Aiolos Brisimitzakis made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chronis Rozaklis was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkas Mentis in the 73rd minute of play forced Soláki FC's goalkeeper Chronis Rozaklis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Soláki FC got a freekick which was hit by Akheloos Demarchis. Kyszkos Kouklakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 78 minutes, Aiolos Brisimitzakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aiolos Brisimitzakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926's Aiolos Brisimitzakis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kyszkos Kouklakis took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chronis Rozaklis. Chronis Rozaklis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Khariklo Christakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aglauros Sklavenitis having to make a save. If Kadmos Katsivalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arkas Mentis got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Arkas Mentis hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. ΑΠΟΕΛ ULTRAS 1926 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
