The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christos Kalaboukis struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Likymnios Tsahalis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANATOLHTES KONIA. If Akheron Polites had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Kalaboukis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Likymnios Tsahalis having to interfere. When Christos Kalaboukis came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the ANATOLHTES KONIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Kalaboukis couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, ANATOLHTES KONIA's Akheron Polites nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Likymnios Tsahalis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Alkestis Soukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Türkgücü SK got a freekick which was hit by Alkestis Soukis. Akheron Polites fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Likymnios Tsahalis having to interfere. Likymnios Tsahalis made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Akheron Polites sent off a good shot on target. Likymnios Tsahalis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Kalaboukis's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Christos Kalaboukis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Glaukos Eliopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Likymnios Tsahalis. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alkestis Soukis to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Türkgücü SK's zone, Christos Kalaboukis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Likymnios Tsahalis came out of the goal and Christos Kalaboukis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match Haimon Angelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Likymnios Tsahalis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Charalambos Nomikos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Likymnios Tsahalis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alkestis Soukis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Kalaboukis in the 67th minute of play forced Türkgücü SK's goalkeeper Likymnios Tsahalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akheron Polites sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Likymnios Tsahalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Kalaboukis in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Akheron Polites was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANATOLHTES KONIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Türkgücü SK the free kick. Akheron Polites kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Akhilleus Panoulias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89thth minute of the game Christos Kalaboukis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Türkgücü SK's Likymnios Tsahalis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Kalaboukis in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Likymnios Tsahalis saved Türkgücü SK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Kalaboukis in the 95th minute of play forced Türkgücü SK's goalkeeper Likymnios Tsahalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akheron Polites fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Likymnios Tsahalis having to interfere. ANATOLHTES KONIA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
