Spectators: 8117 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1948, VIP seats: 169) SamP FC's Sofoklis Rigopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, SamP FC's Kelaino Haritos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oinomoas Alatza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sofoklis Rigopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Oinomoas Alatza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melíngova's Oinomoas Alatza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Melíngova from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Melíngova booed when SamP FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aglauros Diakogeorgiou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SamP FC's zone, Evripidis Tekosis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evripidis Tsakoumis came out of the goal and Evripidis Tekosis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, SamP FC's goal looked a bit too open when Palaimon Paraskos came free, but Evripidis Tsakoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelaino Haritos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Oinomoas Alatza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Sofoklis Rigopoulos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oinomoas Alatza, 2-0. Dinekis Papastavrou scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evripidis Tsakoumis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SamP FC's Kelaino Haritos got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Zethos Shinas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SamP FC and the Melíngova players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Zethos Shinas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute of the match Nikias Banos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Evripidis Tsakoumis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Evripidis Tsakoumis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinekis Papastavrou in the 56th minute of the match. Tityos Haritopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oinomoas Alatza having to interfere. Aglauros Diakogeorgiou hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Kelaino Haritos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Oinomoas Alatza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palaimon Paraskos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SamP FC's Gylippus Eatros got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Palaimon Paraskos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evripidis Tsakoumis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evripidis Tsakoumis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palaimon Paraskos in the 72nd minute of play. Evripidis Tsakoumis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kimon Tassioglou in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Kimon Tassioglou could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Evripidis Tsakoumis however easily saved by the left post. In the 78th minute, Sofoklis Rigopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kelaino Haritos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Oinomoas Alatza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Evripidis Tsakoumis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Kelaino Haritos got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Oinomoas Alatza was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Melíngova defense, Sofoklis Rigopoulos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oinomoas Alatza. The Melíngova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oinomoas Alatza should have stopped the shot. Sofoklis Rigopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
