Edgar Rahne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gylippus Dreliozis in the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Tityos Eliopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panathinaikos f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Tityos Eliopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Babbis Manos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute of the match ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ got a corner. Babbis Manos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Labdakos Diamantopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Babbis Manos made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epeios Alexandropoulos to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Haides Saatsakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Rahne was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Babbis Manos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agix Totolos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tityos Eliopoulos made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Tityos Eliopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babbis Manos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Labdakos Diamantopoulos came free, but Babbis Manos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
