The audience was convinced that Haides Saatsakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sofoklis Bouloukos was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ankaios Giannacopulos during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Haides Saatsakis sped through Koúrnovon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sofoklis Bouloukos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kouropoulos in the 31st minute of play forced ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Babbis Manos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haides Saatsakis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Sofoklis Bouloukos 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the game, Ploutos Kyritsis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sofoklis Bouloukos. Ploutos Kyritsis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Patroklos Karnoupakis got a free kick in the 41st minute. Babbis Manos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xanthos Giangos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Haides Saatsakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Bouloukos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Koúrnovon FC's protests and gave Xanthos Giangos a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Koúrnovon FC got a freekick which was hit by Xanthos Giangos. Haides Saatsakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Sofoklis Bouloukos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patroklos Karnoupakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sofoklis Bouloukos. Sofoklis Bouloukos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hyllos Hagias in the 69th minute of the match. Sofoklis Bouloukos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Farmakis in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, ΑΦΕΝΤΙΚΦ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Babbis Manos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikos Kouropoulos. In the 73rd minute, Stavros Galitsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofoklis Bouloukos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hyllos Hagias in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Priamos Economides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Xanthos Giangos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 95 minutes into the game, one of Koúrnovon FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sofoklis Bouloukos had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Patroklos Karnoupakis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
