Panathinaikos f.c's Tassos Sarris got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Ankaios Giannacopulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Koúrnovon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panathinaikos f.c the free kick. Ankaios Giannacopulos kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos f.c's 石义寒 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd match minute, Panathinaikos f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tassos Sarris to maneuver through the defense. Priamos Economides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Edgar Rahne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Koúrnovon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tassos Sarris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The Panathinaikos f.c fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Panathinaikos f.c's Tassos Sarris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Priamos Economides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
