Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patroklos Markopoulos started the match with the kick off. When Lykurgos Chellos came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Apollon Limassol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lykurgos Chellos couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Apollon Limassol's Nassos Stamatelopoulos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Lykurgos Chellos came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Apollon Limassol fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Patroklos Markopoulos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teo Constancio. In the 23rd match minute, Apollon Limassol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakobos Koutsoubos to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Haimon Stavropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Askanios Georgeakopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nassos Stamatelopoulos in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute, Nassos Stamatelopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lynkeus Mavromichalis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Constancio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lykurgos Chellos in the 37th minute of play forced KYPEROUNTA F.C's goalkeeper Askanios Georgeakopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timos Batsakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lynkeus Mavromichalis struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Teo Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KYPEROUNTA F.C. Iakobos Koutsoubos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iakobos Koutsoubos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. KYPEROUNTA F.C made a substitution. Dimitris Kouropoulos replaced Patroklos Markopoulos. After a rather tough play, Apollon Limassol's Iakobos Koutsoubos got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Lynkeus Mavromichalis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KYPEROUNTA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lynkeus Mavromichalis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lykurgos Chellos was the one to do the kick off. Teo Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Kouropoulos in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Kouropoulos in the 55th minute of play forced Apollon Limassol's goalkeeper Teo Constancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of KYPEROUNTA F.C booed when Apollon Limassol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aison Manoukarakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dimitris Kouropoulos in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Constancio saved Apollon Limassol from getting behind. Thrinakie Hagias kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Nassos Stamatelopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Askanios Georgeakopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, KYPEROUNTA F.C's Dimitris Kouropoulos made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Constancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes KYPEROUNTA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Haimon Stavropoulos. 87 minutes into the game, Apollon Limassol's Lykurgos Chellos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Askanios Georgeakopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitris Kouropoulos during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dimitris Kouropoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Lykurgos Chellos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apollon Limassol's supporters rose to their feet, but Lykurgos Chellos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Askanios Georgeakopoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 98 minutes, Akrisios Pispinis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KYPEROUNTA F.C and the Apollon Limassol players grew even worse after the yellow card. 97 minutes into the game, one of KYPEROUNTA F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Askanios Georgeakopoulos had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Nassos Stamatelopoulos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
