In the 4th match minute, Apollon Limassol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimon Liachames to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Apollon Limassol's Teo Constancio got control of the ball when Leonidas Rorris tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Dhafnotí's goal looked a bit too open when Leukippos Katsourinis came free, but Omar Geneix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dhafnotí's Omar Geneix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nassos Stamatelopoulos in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 played minutes Dhafnotí got a freekick which was hit by Akis Theohari. Leonidas Rorris struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Teo Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dhafnotí. A collision led to Apollon Limassol getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Iakobos Koutsoubos hit a great ball. Apollon Limassol's Teo Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priamos Calogerakis in the 47th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Apollon Limassol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aison Manoukarakis to maneuver through the defense. Iakobos Koutsoubos hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Priamos Calogerakis to strike the kick off in the second half. If Priamos Calogerakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Apollon Limassol's goal looked a bit too open when Lykos Nikolakakos came free, but Teo Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Geneix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nassos Stamatelopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lykos Nikolakakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Teo Constancio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lykos Nikolakakos in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Apollon Limassol's goal looked a bit too open when Lykos Nikolakakos came free, but Teo Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dhafnotí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Geneix should have stopped the shot. Priamos Calogerakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Priamos Calogerakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dhafnotí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Apollon Limassol's Teo Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Priamos Calogerakis in the 95th minute of play. Teo Constancio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Priamos Calogerakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dhafnotí were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
