Timos Batsakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Oinomoas Mousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oinomoas Mousa made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Timos Batsakis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patroklos Markopoulos in the 29th minute of play forced Iraklis Gerolakkou FC's goalkeeper Oinomoas Mousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kerkyon Balouris made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Timos Batsakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oinomoas Mousa was relentless in the 65th minute of the game.
