FC NATIONAL's Alexandros Petridis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Sampaio in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Bulldogs F.C's Alexandre Sampaio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Petridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Olof Sjöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on FC NATIONAL's corner Octavian Popescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Francisco Borges quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bulldogs F.C's Sven-Olof Sjöberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexandros Petridis. That made the score 1-6 after 81 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos in the 92nd minute of play forced Bulldogs F.C's goalkeeper Francisco Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leukippos Vlachos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
